Star Wars Animated Plo Koon Kid Costume

Plo Koon Kids Costumes are Hot Costumes! Pick this Star Wars Animated Costume this Halloween, and you will definitely be the talk of the party!!

Wreaths are most often thought to be a Christmastime decoration. Around the holidays, many of us decorate our homes with evergreen wreaths with lights and red bows. Christmas wreaths are a traditional decoration that we're all accustomed to. However, more and more designers are using wreaths as a constantly rotating seasonal decoration. Why limit yourself to only displaying wreaths during the month of December? Wreaths can be a unique and versatile decoration for any season or holiday. Here are some fresh ideas on using wreaths as year-round decorations.

New Year's:
You can easily take your Christmas wreath into New Year's Day by removing the red bows and adding gold or silver ones with some streamers. Other possible decorations include a Happy New Years banner or hat and some small party horns or plastic champagne glasses.

Valentine's Day:
Nothing says love like a pink or red heart shaped wreath. Consider using silk roses, fabric hearts or even wrapped candies. A stuffed animal like a pink or red teddy bear, or small cupid also adds character. Top it off with a beautiful bow and you have a bright decoration for those cold winter days!

St. Patrick's Day:
Everyone can pretend to be Irish on St. Patty's Day! Of course, when designing a St. Patrick's Day wreath, green is certainly a requirement. A mass of green shamrocks wrapping your wreath would look very festive (garlands of plastic or fabric shamrocks can usually be purchased at decorating stores). Additional decorations might include small gold coins or leprechaun figurines.

Easter:
An Easter wreath can be decorated in many ways. Some choose to focus on the Christian celebration of Christ's resurrection, and others choose a lighthearted Easter Bunny theme. Whatever your choice may be, beautiful spring flowers are a good base for an Easter wreath. Other choices might include Easter eggs, chocolate candies or bunnies, and Easter ribbons.

Fourth of July:
In the United States, July 4 is an important holiday when we all like to show our patriotic spirit. Try a straw or grapevine wreath spray painted with red, white, or blue gloss paint as your base, and then have fun from there! You can use firecrackers, streamers, and ribbons for decorations. And don't forget to include some small flags to celebrate our independence.

Halloween:
After Christmas, Halloween is the most "decorated" holiday we celebrate in the United States. Welcome your trick-or-treaters with a festive Halloween wreath. Orange and black are traditional colors, and there are many materials and items you can use to create your wreath. Decorations might include pumpkins, ghosts, black cats, witches, spiders and wrapped candies.

Thanksgiving:
A wreath is a wonderful way to welcome guests to your home for a Thanksgiving dinner. Consider using natural materials this time of year, as they are so abundant. You may have to plan ahead and pick up beautiful leaves as they fall from the trees to create your own special design. A large fall bow with some colorful corn will complete your Thanksgiving wreath.

As you can see, wreaths aren't just for Christmas anymore! Seasonal wreaths are a great way to decorate for each holiday. If you have a nice base wreath, it would even be possible to just change out the decorations to accommodate each holiday or season. And because most wreaths aren't very large, they are an easy way to add a special touch to your home's decor without busting the budget. Be sure to protect your seasonal wreaths by storing them in a secure and efficient manner so that you can enjoy them for years to come.

For more information on storing your holiday wreaths, please visit The Christmas Tree Storage Bag Shop. There you'll find a variety of wreath storage boxes and other seasonal storage products.

Sexy St. Pauli Girl German Beer Maiden Fraulein Girl Halloween Costume

Leg Avenue St. Pauli Girl Sexy Halloween Party CostumeIncludes Peasant Top Dress with Apron. Does Not Include: Petticoat, Stockings.
Customer Review: Great Great Great!
This costume was great! I would definately recommend this particular costume to anyone. The skirt is not too short but short enough to be sexy without being overly self concious. (of course the overall length will vary depending on how long your legs are I'm sure) The sizing was great and fit perfectly. The material is a little stretchy so it's form fitting without being too snug and stiff.

Kids love wearing costumes and playing dress-up. Some of the favorite "characters" to dress up as include various occupations, such as doctors, police, lawyers, and others. Doctors and pharmacists tend to be some of the most popular of all. If your child is interested in playing one of these characters at Halloween or for any other occasion, you will need a costume. Lab coats, scrubs, and stethoscopes are staples of such costumes.

Fortunately, kids lab coats are available in a variety of sizes to fit the little ones. You can even get lab coats with embroidered names or logos on the breast pocket, to enhance the child's experience with a little bit of realism. Different patterns and designs of child's lab coats are sometimes available, but you can certainly find a great variety of styles of scrubs, if they will suffice for your child's needs.

Sometimes you may be able to find a child's costume set that includes more than just a lab coat. These are usually available in costume stores or around Halloween. If you do find one of these sets, they are the perfect solution for kids who want to be a doctor or other medical professional. They often come complete with lab coat or scrubs, surgical cap and shoe covers, surgical mask, shirt, and pants. Pretend and Play makes just such a doctor set, which includes a plastic doctor's bag, battery-operated stethoscope, pager, thermometer, and bandages.

Since some parents worry about their kids wearing grotesque or violent costumes at Halloween, occupational costumes are an excellent alternative. Your child can present a positive alternative to the scary and gory costumes so often seen at Halloween today.

Cute Infant Baby Monkey Halloween Costume, 12-18 Months

Customer Review: Photo misleading
I ordered this for a friend who specifically chose it because it appeared that the tail curled up. It did not. It was just fabric and hung straight. Quality of the costume was not so great over all. It was returned. Beware all the fine print about restocking fees!
Customer Review: Great Costume
Received right on time. Great quality, and condition. The footies were a little too small to fit over shoes.

Fall is a wonderful time of year for floral design. There are so many beautiful flowers in rich fall colors. Halloween arrangements are especially fun. Use fresh flowers and Halloween novelties to make a fun Halloween design! Some flowers that are great to use for fall include: Bird of Paradise, Alstromeria, Gerbera, Roses, Chrysanthmums, Carnations, Coppertip (crocosmia), and an orange thistle. Leather leaf, salal, and goldenrod are just a few examples of foliage that goes well with these flowers. Curly willow also adds an exciting touch to any fall design.

Use a pumpkin for the vase of your design. To design an arrangement in a pumpkin, first clean out your pumpkin. Sprinkle flower food on the inside, this will help your carved out pumpkin to last longer. You will then want to insert plastic lining in your pumpkin. Floral foam is a great way to anchor your design. After saturating your floral foam in warm water, you are ready to begin! The previous mentioned flowers will look great in this design.

Some tips for your design:

- You paid for that Bird of Paradise! Make sure you can see it! If you use expensive or unique flowers, be sure not to hide it behind foliage or cheap flowers.

- Use the "lid" of your pumpkin as part of your design, this can be attached with a wooden peg.

- Add fall leaves to your design.

- To enhance your design, and to make it more suitable for Halloween, put Halloween novelties in it, like ghosts, spiders, cobwebs, or witches!

- Don't forget purple is the new Halloween color. Using purple flowers and foliage can add variety to any seasonal floral arrangement and help your oranges and reds not to blend together.

Cars: Lightning McQueenTM Halloween Costume

Your little speedster will be set for Halloween and the Piston Cup. Kids simply put on the cap, step into the car, and pull on the adjustable straps. Polyester. Imported. Fits up to size 6.

Here comes the cast of characters, and I cant wait. I love the parade of different costumes at Halloween parties. Its a myriad of swirling colors and bold style statements. It can also be a den of discomfort if care isnt given to ensure a properly fitting costume. For children and adults, the key is sizing and gauging appropriate length.

Heres a checklist for costume compatibility:

1. MEASURE. If you dont already have one, buy a tape measure. Cloth or plastic tape measures are inexpensive and available at all general merchandise stores and craft stores (look in the craft department where sewing supplies are displayed). Jot down all possible physical measurements chest, waist, hips, inseam, arm and neck. When shopping for a costume to buy, have your list readily at hand to compare with available size charts.

2. LOOK FOR ANY SPECIFIC SIZING NOTES. For example, the manufacturer might note that sizing for an item runs small. If so, believe it and go up to the next size. Otherwise, plan to buy true to size or one size up to ensure comfortable wear. Depending on the festivities, party time is anywhere from two hours to well into the evening. Thats a long time to be squeezed into something too small.

3. TRY IT ON. The best way to check sizing is to try the garment on. If you are purchasing items on the internet, try it on immediately upon receipt. This will ensure plenty of time to exchange if it doesnt fit. If you have questions, ASK. Most retailers are happy to assist you with your purchase, and this includes prompt replies to email questions.

4. SHORTEN. Skirts or slacks that are too long are quite frankly dangerous for Halloween events. Cut, hem, pin or securely tape clothing to the desired, safer length and tripping fears are laid to rest. Unless longer sleeves are actually a part of your costume, shorten them also if ill-fitting. Particularly at Halloween parties, candles are usually part of the dcor and you dont want to be trailing burning sleeves across a table.

Your holiday event will be loads of fun, and youll enjoy the evening so much more if youre comfortable and able to freely move. Happy Halloween, and be safe!

The one day of the year that puts any man running is Valentine's Day. This is the one day where they are to find a unique way to show their special lady that they are special and the only one. Many men just go with the usual gifts of stuffed animals, flowers and chocolates. You don't have to fall into the same old gifts like the rest of the guys. You can give her something different and fun that she will absolutely love.

Gift baskets are a sure fire way to give her special treats that will tickle her heart and win her over. You can do just about anything with a gift basket and the great part is, you can make it yourself without having to spend a fortune. You can fill the basket with anything you like and make it personally tailored to just her.

The first thing you will need to do is find the perfect basket. Most major stores such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and any craft store will have a variety of baskets to choose from. You will need to get a basket that is big enough for the gifts that you will be putting in the basket. Something with a little color is always a good way to go and you can choose a basket with color that matches something in her place so she can use it possible in her bathroom for linens or something else.

Then you will need to decide what to put in the basket. You can make it all romantic gifts such as candles or incense with some flutes (champagne glasses) or wine glasses. You can also add in a bottle of bubble or wine to match with the glasses and add in some cheese and crackers as well as a cheese cutter. Then the two of you can enjoy a romantic treat together and she has some gifts that she can use year round.

You can make the basket filled with all sorts of things for her to pamper herself with such as scented lotions, bubble bath, shower gels and some scented candles so she can take a candle lit bubble bath. Don't forget to throw in something shiny such as earrings or a bracelet as jewelry is always a winner with women.

The best thing to do is pack the basket full of things that she likes. If you need help with what to do with this type of gift you can always ask her friends or family on what she likes. They can give you some great ideas of things that she likes and then you will be sure to have a gift that is a great hit and shows her how special she is to you.

It's time to start getting creative to mark a very special day in the calendar! Fathers' Day is just weeks away - Sunday 15th June. Card Making enthusiasts are already planning how to make their Father feel very special by the giving of a personalized Greeting Card - a card made from the heart using fabulous papers and embellishments.

But what's the history of Fathers' Day and how popular and event is it?

There are a number of events that have been credited with rallying the need to celebrate Fathers' day. These include the celebration of Fathers at a special church service following a mining disaster in 1907. An explosion in a mine in the United States killed over 360 men, many were fathers; the nearby church marked this occasion with a celebration of fathers' on July 5, 1908 in West Virginia. It is thought that the pastor was inspired by this terrible tragedy.

By far the most credited with inspiring Fathers' Day is Mrs Sonara Smart Dodd from Washington. Her father, a Civil War Veteran was a single parent and raised his family of six children in Spokane Washington. Sonara Smart Dodd gained her inspiration whilst listening to a mothers' day sermon in 1909 - so inspired was she that she proposed a similar day to celebrate Fathers'. In her eyes, her own father had made tremendous sacrifices following the death of his wife, in childbirth. He was a loving and courageous man and she wanted the world to know what an exceptional man he had been. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910 in Spokane, Washington.

A movement had started but it was mot until 1956 that Fathers' Day was recognized by a joint resolution of Congress and it was until 1972 that President Nixon set in stone the national observance of Fathers' Day, to be held on the third Sunday of June. In the UK, Fathers' Day has grown tremendously in popularity and has a growing impact on retail sales during June, particularly with Greeting Cards. There is not only a huge growth in shop bought cards but in card making.

One company that has recently set up to offer products for card making is http://www.starblaze.co.uk It has a wide selection of inspirational card blanks and papers that are perfect for Fathers' Day. Here you'll also find embellishments for card making. If you have children then holidays must be taken during the school holidays. This creates a great demand for all the popular family holiday resorts. So great can be the demand that the availability of holiday villas and apartments becomes less and less as the Summer Holidays approach. Although this all must seem common sense, it is surprising just how many people leave the booking of their Summer Holidays for whatever reason, to the last minute.

Perhaps among these reasons is the popularity of last minute deals and indecision of where to go. Although it is possible to get some last minute holiday deals, airlines generally offer lower prices for advance bookings and higher prices for last minute bookings and so the gain is offset. Another possible reason for delaying booking is the fear that illness or other unpredictable events may cause cancellation and loss of money.

Of course it is possible to take out insurance against such events happening, but this can be both expensive and generally unnecessary for the reason which follows:-

Most owners of holiday villas and apartments require a small deposit to secure the holiday booking. This deposit is fully refundable in the event of cancellation provided that enough notice is given to enable the booking dates to be offered to others enquiring, This notice period of cancellation is usually around 6-8 weeks.

So what is the best time to book your summer holiday? Why not as early as now or at the very latest October 2006 for ensuring that you have the best choice, beating the rush, avoiding frustration and disappointment?

Kid's Deluxe White Bunny Rabbit Halloween Costume

Although Halloween has always been about chilling things like haunts, hobgoblins, and hexes, some get more stimulated about things that are pretty disgusting. Although your kids may not wish to eat carrots or spinach throughout the year because they consider them to be 'disgusting,' this is one time of the year when they are going to go wacky for the chance to slash into a brain, or to maybe gobble down a handful of lopped off digits. We may never realize the difference, but we can certainly go with it. If you really want your event to be a success you'll want to try some fun and gross Halloween recipes to dish out on this fun day.

If you can prepare Jell-O, you can find some pretty rank Halloween recipes on your own. You might have to browse online to discover them, but there are some really interesting Jell-O molds out there that can help you to form brains, fingers, and other interesting body pieces. If you would like to dish out a heart in a bowl of blood, this is the direction to go. You have to come up with the right colouration for these gross Halloween recipes, but they should be easy enough to make. Don't forget to use strawberry sauce, or something else that is deeper red, to have for the blood. Things are much more sickening when they come with some blood.

You can likewise do some intriguing things with spaghetti for rank Halloween recipes. Things like this are screeching out to be prepared into something truly yucky. You can come up with a heavy, dark red sauce and then use it to make what would look like guts. This may not make things good to eat, but they are going to be very interesting. Find some type of item that you can use to present the intestines, and you are going to truly gross your kids out - just like they have wished you would do.

If you are effective with baking, you can make some disgusting Halloween recipes that call for ornamenting things with eyeballs and other icky items. You can build cupcakes that look like jumbo eyeballs, or perhaps you could cut up a cake to decorate as something that is going to repulse and please your children or your other invitees. These thoughts for gross Halloween recipes work swell at home, but don't forget to share them with others that you know. If you are having a party of any type, be sure you have sufficient amounts to service all of your guests. It's a celebration they are not going to forget any time in the near future.

Parties are a time-honored tradition during the holiday season. They are the perfect way for friends, coworkers, and loved ones to gather together to celebrate the holidays. They are also the perfect opportunity to do something fun and different. For instance, you could throw a theme party. No matter who you invite, there is sure to be a wide variety of Christmas party themes to choose from in order to match the personalities of your guests.

For children, there are numerous ideas that you can use for Christmas party themes because it is fairly easy to determine what make children happy. Throw them a Santa Claus party where everyone comes dressed in red with a Santa hat on. Make all of the decorations, serving plates, napkins, and cups Santa-related and maybe even invite a grown up Santa to the party to give out little gift to each of the children. You could also serve Santa shaped cookies and milk.

If a Santa Claus party doesn't interest you, maybe a tree decorating party would. This might be a little more costly but probably not much more than what you would spend on any other party. Once you decide on the number of children that you want to invite, take a trip to your local dollar store and purchase one miniature Christmas tree for each child. You can get them for around $5 a piece and you can also purchase miniature ornaments, garland and tinsel for a very reasonable price. Again, as we did with the Santa Christmas party theme, make sure everything is Christmas tree related, such as cookies, napkins, plates, and decorations.

Even for adults, Christmas party themes can be a lot of fun. You can definitely use your imagination here. Costume parties are always a hit because it is fun to see everyone dressed in costumes. It really shows their imagination. For this type of party, ask your guests to dress up as one of the characters from one of your favorite Christmas cartoons or shows.

For example, if your favorite Christmas cartoon is How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the guests could dress up as the Grinch or Cindy Lou Who. You could even serve your own version of the Christmas feast with the "Roast Beast" and "Who Hash". If you like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer have everyone dress up as Rudolph, an elf, or even the Abominable Snow Man and serve some type of food that you can rename "silver and gold" after the cartoon's theme song.

Christmas is a great time of year and should be enjoyed to the fullest. Parties are the absolute best way to do so, whether it is with your children and their friends or your adult friends, family, and coworkers. You can create Christmas party themes from just about any holiday related item. All you have to do is use your imagination and have fun with it.

Whether your looking for a good Christmas gift idea or how to make Christmas gift baskets, http://www.thechristmasdomain.com has something to offer you.

Mystic Sorcerer Elite Collection Adult Costume

Includes: Full-length robe, hood with attached cape collar, waist sash and jeweled bat medallion. Makeup not included.

If there was one problem with Halloween costumes it would be that they are just too scary at times. Now, some may consider this a somewhat obtuse criticism. After all, there is nothing wrong with this type of reaction provided that is what the wearer of the costume is looking for. But, not everyone is all that interested in scaring other guests when they show up at a party. Some people wish to look a little elegant in their Halloween presentation. This is where Halloween fancy dress costumes come into play as they add a unique facet to the traditional Halloween costume. But, wanting a costume that embodies these traits and knowing which type of a costume to purchase are two different animals. So, here is a little help understanding which Halloween fancy dress costumes would be considered visually stunning.

One of the most elegant Halloween fancy dress costume ideas comes from costumes that are designed with a Victorian influence. And, yes, there are a lot of costumes that are based on the look of this era. This should come as no surprise since a number of gothic horror novels such as Dracula and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde that were born of this era. Then again, there were gothic characters of the era that had their origins in reality such as Jack the Ripper. Because the Victorian era spawned so many gothic figures, fancy dress costumes based on the period have always been popular. Again, these costumes will make the person who wears them look like something special.

Also, some of the "Old West" characters which have gained their merit in history have their own unique an elegant look. While most people think of the cowboy as an old west icon, the classic image of the saloon gambler embodies popular imagery as well. After all, these characters had to look good in order for their claims of swarthiness to be somewhat credible. So, dressing up as a 19th century maverick gambler has an elegant Halloween fancy dress appeal to it.

Then, we could go back even further into the past for some truly fancy looking Halloween costumes. That is, you could step into the vestments of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh. While you will not have the ability to rule the free world, you can look as spectacular as the Egyptian rulers of the past. If you do not think that this costume provides a great look then you really need to plug in the DVD of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and check out Yul Bryner's performance as Pharaoh. Granted, it would be doubtful that anyone could match the stunning visual look that this great actor pontificated in the classic film, but it is possible to look truly unique and such a brilliant period piece of Halloween fancy dress costume would be a step in this direction.

While this is by no means a complete list of historical Halloween fancy dress concepts, it does provide a general overview of the type of costumes that one would find most appealing. Hopefully, that will provide much food for thought.

Car Hop Girl Adult

Includes one-piece dress with light turquoise blue skirt, black blouse, apron, and matching cap. "Junior's Diner" and a picture of a burger are printed on the front and back of blouse. This costume runs small. Available in one size. Package states adult standard, however it is closer to a size Medium. Socks not included.
Customer Review: cute but small
I just received this costume and its cute but quite small. Someone else reviewed it and said the same thing but didn't list their size. I normally wear a size 6-8 and a small or medium on top. Mostly small. The bottom fit fine as its flaired, but the top was very tight especially around the arms. The hat is also quite small. The collar is almost a foam like material but you probably wouldnt notice too much if you werent close up.
Customer Review: Car hop costume
I absolutely loved this costume, however, I ordered it for myself, but the size ran very small. So instead of returning my daughter has decided to wear it for halloween this year.

Halloween is a great time of year, enjoyed by so many families. However it can be a busy holiday and with excitement running high and increased commotion it is worth taking a step back to ensure you are making it a safe Halloween for all your family.

Costumes & Outfits

Ensure purchased costumes and wigs are flame proof.

Reduce the risk of falls and trips, by ensuring your child's costume is cut to a suitable length.

If your child is venturing out in the evening, be aware of the temperature drop and ensure their costumes are going to be sufficient.

Trick or Treat

The safest way to trick or treat is to visit family and friends.

When trick or treating outside of your friends & family circle, ensure you map a route and where possible get a sensible adult to supervise the group.

Small children should not be allowed out unsupervised.

Elder children that are unsupervised should be given a set time for their return and where possible, should be collected as a group from a suitable meeting point.

Make sure your children understand not to go into strangers homes. Also point out they should not accept lifts or get into strangers cars.

Trick or treat in larger groups. Ensure all members of your party understand the rules you have set out for them.

When moving around the neighbourhood remind your children to be extra vigilant about traffic. Small neighbourhood roads can be dangerous areas for children not paying attention.

Explain the difference between vandalism and tricks! It is very easy for children to get caught up in the moment or respond to peer pressure. Think of your trick ideas before you set off!

Check your child's treats before they consume!

Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins is not suitable for small children. If you are worried and want to avoid disappointment, why not buy a prop pumpkin instead?

If using candles/ flames within your pumpkin ensure they are kept well away from hanging materials, never leave unattended and ensure children understand the dangers they carry.

Pets

With the increased flow of persons around your neighbourhood it is advisable to keep pets in on Halloween.

Make sure all lanterns and decorations are kept away from pets.

Trick or Treaters may result in you opening and closing your front door more than normal. If your pet is likely to be disturbed, keep them enclosed in one peaceful area.

As a general rule, pets don't enjoy being dressed up! It may seem cute but leave Halloween for you and your children.

Take care this Halloween, follow a few simple rules for your family's safety and have fun!

Adult Horse Halloween Costume (Size: X-Large)

Happy Holidays, Season's Greetings Everyone.

I called a former colleague and wished him Happy Holidays. He corrected me and said Merry Christmas--and that he appreciated that I was trying to be 'Politically Correct.'

It's not a matter of being politically correct.

I suggest inclusiveness, respecting all traditions and people who celebrate this time of year, that's what's important here. I prefer the term Positively Respectful.

Christians do not own this season or the sacredness of it. Long before Christians, pagan nature-based peoples and traditions were honoring and celebrating the Winter Solstice - the darkest day of the year, and rejoicing in the beginnings of new light to brighten the days following. Our Jewish neighbors celebrated Hanukkah long before Christians came along also. Christians honor Christmas as the birthday of a man named Jesus, historically the son of Jewish parents and whose lifestyle Christians try to follow. Having studied religions, I know it is no coincidence that Christmas happens to be celebrated very close to the Winter Solstice. Other people honor this time as sacred also.

All religion aside, many simply celebrate this season because something inside calls them to rekindle a sense of childhood wonder and magic, to remember a time when they believed in a kind-hearted, generous soul called Santa; to be open to the possibility that sometimes miracles happen, and that sometimes we can make them happen for somebody else. For those who catch the spirit, there's something more playful, fun, and lighter in the world.

So yes, I honor, value, and appreciate all of that--the fun and festivities, the wonderful spirits who celebrate the season, and those who add more joy to the world these days. To each of you, Happy Holidays and blessings to all.

Customer Review: so cute
This looked adorable on my lab/shar-pei mix!!! He was hilarious at Halloween and everyone loved it. He didn't like his ears being covered, but it was just as cute behind his ears.
Customer Review: Way too small!
I had the opposite problem as the other reviewer--on my (small for her breed) Newfoundland, the skunk tail started about her waist!! I added 1' worth of black material and stapled velcro to keep the tail around hers, but it was ridiculous. Way too small. Adorable though! So hard to find outfits large enough for Giant breeds.

You only have seven days until your Thanksgiving guests arrive. Is it time to panic or time to plan? You are going to need a clean house, a scrumptious meal and a happy family. It is time to plan. Pullout your Thanksgiving planning calendars you started three weeks before Thanksgiving and get going.

One week before Thanksgiving:

Make a list of all your vegetables and creamery needs. You can purchase butter and heavy cream now and be sure to have enough. Often times the stores will sell out of these items closer to Thanksgiving.

If you will be having overnight guests purchase some eggs, sausage, bacon and pancake mix for the morning after Thanksgiving. This will make your Friday home relaxed and enjoyable.

All your vegetable needs such as squash, potatoes and green beans will keep well for a week. By purchasing all these items ahead of time you will not only be sure to have plenty you will also make your last minute shopping easier.

Dig out all your linens, china, crystal and silver.

Begin with washing and drying your linens. Iron your table cloth and napkins then lay them out on the table. Polish any silver you will be using and make sure that all the crystal is clean and sparkling. Hand wash all your fine china and lay it out on the table.

Dig out any turkey roasters, platters and serving dishes you will be using. Wash and prepare all of them so they are clean and ready on Thanksgiving. This will help to reduce your stress when it comes time to begin cooking.

LED Christmas lights are the newcomers to the holiday scene. They have proven themselves valuable for many reasons. In this article I am going to give you some great ideas on how to decorate with these versatile LED Christmas lights.

First, I will explain what they are. They are lights based on Light Emitting Diode technology which are encased in plastic making them very durable for indoor or outdoor use.

A great plus with these lights are the low amounts of energy used, saving you money on your typically higher electricity bill for December. They last longer and have a lower operating temperature than the traditional Christmas lights. If you drop them, they are OK, no cleaning up broken glass or replacing burned out bulbs. The UL and LED manufacturers have rated LED light sets for 90 days of seasonal use outdoors.

These lights come in different colors, shapes, and sizes, which means you can use them for more than just Christmas decorations. Here are a few tips on how you can use your LED Christmas lights not only for Christmas, but for other special occasions.

1. These make a great backdrop for your fireplace. You can wrap these around and frame your fireplace, over the mantel, and/or if you have garland, drape it through.

2. These are beautiful lit around the walkways, creating an inviting and peaceful feel. You may use some light stakes to help suspend the lights, draping them along the curves of your garden path and walkway.

3. Outline your gardening or work-shed, or any other buildings around your home. This will add to the festive look you are creating with your home decorations.

4. These are a beautiful and festive way to decorate the dining room. Your dining room is the center of the festivities, why not add a bit more festivity with lights decorating the buffet or hutch. This will create an inviting and warm feeling in this room, whether it's being used or not.

5. These are great to decorate for weddings.

6. LED Christmas lights are perfect for your outdoor holiday decorating. You can create a beautiful waterfall effect by draping these lights in your trees, draping them from the crown of your tree, down the sides, then accentuating the look by wrapping the lights around the trunk, creating light magic.

7. Why settle for just one Christmas tree, why not drape these LED Christmas lightsthroughout your home, adding cheer in every room? You can put different colors all over the house, creating a theme for each room.

8. Orange lights are great for Halloween or Thanksgiving parties. You can use red, white and blue for the 4Th of July.

9. You can also use blue or pink lights at a baby shower, this will brighten up the party for sure.

10. LED Christmas lights are a beautiful addition to any garden or flowerbed. Creating a new feel by outlining your flowerbeds, or use them to cast light on stone sculptures. These lights are beautiful in any color and will illuminate the beauty around your home and yard. With a little imagination on your part, you will come up with some fabulous ideas.

Merry Christmas!
