The energy of this Christmas season has been interesting. Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of the year. I love the lights and displays that everyone decorates with, the music and the love that people express at this time of year.

This Christmas is entirely different. Though people seem to be decorating more this year than in past years, the enjoyment of it is not there. The stores have very little in them and I have not heard one person wish anyone a 'Happy Holiday'.

I love window shopping, just walking around looking at what is available. This year, window shopping is very depressing. I walk around the stores and feel such sadness and depression. When I first experienced this, I thought it was because this is our first Christmas without Samantha. But, I soon realized that this was not it. I was feeling the energy that was being left in the stores by other shoppers.

People are so sad and depressed this Christmas. We are finding no joy in the Holidays this year. I have been meditating on this and realize why this is so.

Christmas is a very third dimensional Holiday. It is extremely stressful. People put lots of stress on themselves to find the perfect, most expensive present possible. They spend time with family that they usually avoid most of the year. They max out their credit cards and eat until they are miserable. This is all very unspiritual.

Humanity is now moving into the fourth and fifth dimensions. There is no place in these higher dimensions for materialism such as Christmas represents. These higher dimensions are places of Love and Peace. Our third dimensional Christmas does not represent either of those qualities. We must move past the materialism and into a more spiritual based honoring of this Holiday Season.

The Christmas Season occurs at the time of the Winter Solstice. The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year. It is the time when the Earth is about to be reborn and the days become longer. It is a time of letting go of the old and beginning anew. This is the time of new beginnings, a New Year when we can create a New Reality.

These are the concepts of the Holiday Season that we will be celebrating in the higher dimensions. These are the more spiritual qualities that we will be embracing during the holidays in years to come.

So, take some of the stress off of yourself this Holiday Season. Step out of the third dimensional Holiday Season and into the fifth dimensional Holiday Season. Let go of the stress and disappointment you have experienced in 2006 and move into 2007 with a heart filled with Hope for the future, Joy to be alive, and Peace on Earth.

Justice League DC Comics Wonder Woman Child Costume

Costume includes: Gold headband with Red Star, Red cape, Red, White & Blue leotard, Gold belt & lasso, Silver bracelets and Red & White boot tops. This is the officially licensed costume.
Customer Review: So happy with this costume. Small is AGE 3-4 (not 4-6)
This is a great costume. Especially for a preschooler! The sizing is confusing though. Small 4-6 means size 4-6 not age 4-6. On the costume package it says size 4-6 for AGE 3-4. The same would logically apply to the larger sizes, so be careful to order the right size. I knew this before hand and the small fits my 4 year old ( a small 4 year old) great! The belt is velcro, one size, way too big but that is no problem. I just tie it like a sash in the back, a safety pin would be another option. The bracelets and the tiara are great and they stay put. The tiara wraps around with elastic on the back so works like a charm. There is a little place for the lasso (it comes with a lightweight golden lasso) which also helps to keep the belt in place. And the robe is great. It's actually nice and long. It is really much cuter than it looks in the picture. Seems comfortable enough for everyday play. Very cool. We are very happy with this.
Customer Review: Great product although sizings are odd
The costume is very well constructed. Unlike many other Wonder Woman costumes it includes the lasso, cape, boots, wrist bands, and headbands. However, because of the sizing of the accessories we will have to make some alterations to it to get it to fit. My daughter is a small five year old. The size small bodysuit barely fits her although we do expect to get some enjoyment out of it. It is quite stretchy after all. The cape barely reachs around her neck to fasten. I'll have to add some new ties so that it doesn't feel like it is choking her. The waist band and boots, on the other hand, are quite large. I'll have to add velcro to the waist band to make it fit smaller around her waist. I'm not sure what to do about the boots. They are sliding down her little legs. This costume is great for the price, just be aware when you buy it that there is some incongruity with the sizing of the accessories. If you are handy you should be able to make the adjustments yourself. It is a super price!

A holiday can be termed as time spent away from home or business, in travel or amusement. It can also mean a day, reserved by a country or culture, usually for celebration or for some other type of special observance or activity. Holidays can be special religious days. It can also be a special day on which schools and/or offices are closed, like Labor Day on the 1st Monday of May. World holidays are those that are celebrated worldwide.

It is possible to find information about almost all worldwide holidays on Internet. Several websites provide holiday listings and other related information. World holidays are generally categorized by country, date, and religion, or there may be long-term ceremonies that span a week or more.

Should you send that new friend, the one you met at the book club, a card with a pastoral winter scene on the front, or a picture of the baby Jesus, or a graphic that says "Happy Holidays?" Are you going to insult someone who doesn't celebrate a religious holiday if you send them a card with a religious scene or sentiment? What if you have a Jewish friend-should the card you give her say, "Happy Hanukah?"

These are questions that probably most everyone considers when they decide the best way to communicate the holidays with others by sending holiday cards. These points are important and thoughtful. Since this time of year is one of friends and family, and a time when being a part of each other's lives is highlighted, it stands to reason that we would want to put our best foot forward.

We tend to start celebrating-by virtue of commercialism-earlier and earlier every year. With a tightened 2008 economy, it seems that the selling world has lengthened our shopping calendar even more. Barely had Labor Day ticked off its last minute than we began to see generic Christmas decorations showing up in stores all over. By the time we've seen the last lil' trick-or-treater on our Halloween doorstep, we'll be able to walk into WalMart and find Christmas tree bulbs and stockings and front-yard Santas for sale in the store's year-round section.

We've made Christmas a generic sort of holiday. Much of the strictly spiritual significance has been pushed aside to make way for a celebration of togetherness notwithstanding any personal deep-seated belief. If I send you a card that shows a decorated tree with twinkling lights, brightly-colored bulbs, and mistletoe in the doorway, it means no disrespect if your holiday includes a menorah and eight days of presents. I simply want to wish you the best of holidays . . . no matter how you may celebrate and no matter what differences there may be between our cultures. There has to be a common ground.

That's the point of the holidays. We have different traditions, quite possibly even different belief systems. Yet the spirit of the season has the exact same message for one and all: love and understanding. While the commercial side of our society tells us to fill up our world with all sorts of shiny and colorful decorations, the reason behind those accoutrements can be summed up as simply our own personal expression of seasonal enjoyment, all of us wanting to communicate our happiness with anyone who may care to pay attention.

The fact that we want to send a holiday card filled with good wishes to others-whether they be family we've known all our lives, or a friend we just met-this is the true meaning of the season. If you know the person well, send them something that expresses your understanding of their world. If you have just met, simply share the joy of the season . . . your new friend will likely return the sentiment.

Lil' Lamb Toddler/ Infant Halloween Costume

Mary would love to have your little Lamb in this Kids Costume. Choose the Lil' Lamb Baby Halloween Costume and show everyone just how cute your Little One can be.

The holidays are a lot of fun but they also bring a lot of stress. Everything we have to do for the holidays is piled on top of everything normally have to do. Robyn Bentley, a feng shui consultant and author of Creating A Haven: Simple Steps For A Healthy And Nurturing Home, has some suggestions for the home to lift your spirits and things to do to reduce your stress level during the most wonderful and stressful time of the year.

Tap into your happy childhood. Go through your old photos when you were a carefree kid excited about the holidays. Use a color copier and to enlarge them to 8x10, 11x14 or 16x20 mini posters for decorations. You can put them in inexpensive plastic box or clip frames. If you have old holiday pictures of friends and family who will be coming to visit you, make some fun mini posters of them too. Think of how good that will make them feel to see themselves in your home.

Watch the clutter. Too much clutter makes the natural energy flow in your home slow down and get stuck, which makes us feel stuck or depressed. A good cleaning and clutter clearing before you add decorations is a good idea. Obstacles in the home can create obstacles in your life, so don't create obstacles with your decorations. If you have to step over it, duck under it, or squeeze by, its going to add more stress to your holiday too.

Chuck the negative stuff. Everything inside your home has a memory, association or meaning attached to it. When you look at an item it will either give you a positive emotional response, a neutral response or negative response. The more negatives you have around the house, the more negative the energy in the house. Getting rid of all the negatives and surrounding yourself with positives raises the energy in the house and helps keep your energy positive and upbeat. Keep that in mind while you are decorating and don't put up any decorations that make you have any negative feelings.

Angry? The more stressed we are, the easier it is to become angry. However, it is physiologically impossible to be angry when your muscles are relaxed. Anger cannot exist without muscle tension. If the holidays start getting to you, take an adult "time out" and go limp like a rag doll. Relax your body without tensing one single muscle. Not a clenched jaw, or baby toe. And breath for a few minutes to get yourself back to normal.

Keep your mood more positive during the holidays by getting a good night's dark. Melatonin is the hormone that controls our mood and our sleep. It is produced by the pineal gland at night in the dark. Light makes the body think its daytime. To keep your body making the right amount of melatonin to keep your mood more positive and help you get enough sleep, make sure you are sleeping in the dark. Don't sleep with the light on, or TV or with a streetlight coming through your bedroom window. Or your neighbors holiday light display.

Removing negatives and adding positives around the home to lift your spirits will help create more joy and less stress this holiday season. And while you're at it, you'll find many free feng shui tips for your office, home, and children's rooms on Robyn Bentley's website http://www.fengshuidiva.com .

Elvira Mistress of the Dark Outfit Sexy Adult Goth Halloween Costume Naughty Long Black Witch Dress

Sexy 3 Piece Haunted House Mistress Outfit

This Item Includes: Lace Up Slit Dress; Belt; Skull Dagger

{{LegAvenueSizes}}

Your imagination can go wild with these homemade Halloween costumes. You can buy your accessories separately and use them to put together a Halloween costume or you can start from scratch and make your costume. If you like sewing you can start with one of many patterns available.

Dracula or vampire costumes can be made with a long black cape and a dark suit. You need to add some vampire teeth and you may want to include a bit of fake blood and white face paint to make your skin seem pale.

Barbie costume can be put together with a blonde wig, a bikini and a pair of high heels. Over stuffing the bikini top helps pull off this look.

Car costume is made out of a card board box. This works best for toddler sized kids. You paint the box to look like a car, the top opens up and you wear it like shorts using suspenders or yarn over the shoulders to hold it up. The car fits around your child's waist and the child sticks out of the top like a race car driver or you can color the child to be a flag pole and make the car be a monster truck. There are many variations available, let your creativity flow with this one.

Pizza delivery man is fairly easy; you just need a pizza box. Most pizza places will give you a box for your costume; you can often get one of their paper hats as well. A fake name tag on your t-shirt can complete your costume.

Robot costumes have been fun to make for over 30 years now. A few card board boxes and some aluminum foil can make the cutest homemade robot costume. Cut boxes to fit like pants and shirts with one box stacked on the other then cover with foil. You put on the boxes over top of your clothing and you can cover arms and legs with smaller boxes that are covered with foil.

Angel costumes can be made of all white clothing, including a white dress, along with a set of wings and a halo. The halo is easy to make with a wire coat hanger and some foil. The halo is attached to the back of the collar with either tape or it can be sewn in. The wire hanger is bent so that the halo itself is above the head of the person wearing the costume. Wings can be made by shaping wire hangers into wing shapes and then stretching white nylons or white fabric (many types can work) over the frame. Attach to the back of the shirt or dress and your angel is complete.

Jack-in-the-box is done quite a bit like the robot costume. This homemade Halloween costume is simple to create and the effect is quite impressive. You take a large cardboard box and decorate it with bright colors. A crank handle can be made out of empty bathroom tissue and paper towel rolls covered with foil. The top of the box is held open allowing you to stick your upper body out of the box. Dressing up like a clown helps this look.

There are many other homemade costumes you can make. Make-up can also be homemade. Either a shortening based make-up made of 1 part shortening 2 parts corn starch and food coloring or the cosmetics you have on hand can be used to finish the look.

Lil' Penguin Elite Collection Infant/Toddler Costume

Includes: Lined zippered bodysuit with bow tie, attached tail, booties and hood with top hat.

One of the most wonderful times of the year is Christmas and one of the most exciting events of the Christmas season is the church bazaar. Everyone looks forward to this event as it brings people together and gives us the chance to see folks we haven't seen in a while. But planning a Christmas bazaar is a lot of work. If you're planning on doing one, here are just a few of the things that you're going to want to do.

The first thing you're going to want to do is pick a date and make sure the church is available for that date. The last thing you want is for the minister to tell you that he's got a wedding planned for that day. Saturdays before the Sunday service are usually the best time. You want the date to be close to Christmas but not too close. The first or second week of the month is best.

The next thing you need to do is put out a sign up sheet to see who is going to be setting up tables. This is your main attraction at the bazaar so you want to make sure there are plenty of tables and a good variety of things to sell. You might want to also set up some specialty tables as well, like maybe one to take photos or maybe a table to print out cards showing what happened on your birthday. You'll need a computer and a special program for that. These things usually go over very well and are great money makers.

You'll also want to make sure that you plan to have a lunch setup. Keep the menus simple and the prices fair. People love to eat in between shopping but they don't want to pay a fortune for it either. Have a few different kinds of desserts and drinks available like soda, coffee and tea.

One of the biggest sellers at a Christmas bazaar is the bake shop. This is a lot of work but it is worth it. Have as many people as possible bake cookies and cakes the day before and bring them down to the church to have them bagged and weighed. You want to sell things by the pound. Keep your prices fair and you'll make out very well. Depending on how much is baked, you could make $500 or more just from the bake shop alone.

Finally, you want to make sure that everything is set up the day before. The bazaar should start around 9 or 10 in the morning and it should run until about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Make sure you have a Santa there to take photos with the kids. You don't have to hire one specially. You can recruit one of the church members who fits the costume to fill the part. You're certain to get at least one volunteer.

By keeping a checklist and making sure that everything on it is done, your bazaar is certain to come off without too many hitches.

Sexy Wizard Of Oz Dorothy Halloween Gingham Costume

Scars: One of the easiest and safest ways to make scars is to use colored tissue paper and corn syrup, yep you read it right corn syrup. Choose a color of tissue paper that matches the makeup color as closely as possible. The corn syrup will be sticky this will allow it to stick to your skin, allow it to dry completely then apply makeup. If you are looking for more realistic scars. Use a combination of toilet tissue and liquid latex, layer them at least 2 layers for strength. Then work to the desired shape you want your scar to be, and apply makeup.

Warts: (warning keep away from eyes) use black, or white pepper corns. Place on the nose using corn syrup, or eyelash glue. You can even use hairs from paint brush to create hairy warts for that extra gross look. Lightly paint around the area to blend with rest of makeup or apply face powder to soften the look.

Scabs: Can be one of the easiest, but most effective parts of your costume. You will need a few things before you get started. Some toilet tissue (plys separated), liquid latex and your choice of paint and makeup. Clean the area that you want to apply, and make sure there is no hair present (it will stick to hair) apply a small thin coat of Liquid Latex. Then apply 1 ply of the toilet tissue, and another thin layer of latex. Now pull up and cut the latex as needed, this will create the effect of skin pulled away. Apply darker makeup to the center and alternate with red's and blue's around the outside of the cap. You can even apply a little fake blood to increase the effect.

Protect you makeup by putting some plain talc powder or baby powder in an old sock, and pat on to the make up. This will help cure the makeup and help prevent it from running or blending together, making your work last all through the night.

Originating in Scotland and Ireland with the Celts, Halloween actually is derived from a Celtic festival called Samhain. Every year the Celts would celebrate their New Years Eve on October 31st as it marked the end of the Summer season, and the following day was the start of the Winter season when it got colder and darker. They would build huge bonfires to scare off evil spirits and dance around them. The idea of children knocking door to door came from the tradition of begging for a few pence to give to the poor and a cake for themselves which became soul cakes. For every soul cake they received the children would then say a prayer for the souls of the dead. One of the most popular cakes was a caraway bun. A simple cake with caraway seeds sprinkled on the top.

Every year on Halloween night our front door is constantly on the go! We have to remember to buy extra sweets and treats for children and as much as we love seeing their little scary faces at the door it can prove to be quite an expensive time. So this year I decided to make some of my own cookie treats, a huge pile of little caraway cakes, piled into a box which I decked out in crumpled orange and black tissue paper, which they have to delve in to pull out little cakes, wait for the hesitation. That way I only had to buy the tissue paper and a packet of caraway seeds! Works a treat!

This is what you'll need:

85g Margarine,
85g Self raising flour,

Adult Mexican On Donkey Halloween Costume

St. Patricks Day might not be known as a traditional gift-giving holiday, but that does not mean you cannot make it so. In fact, there are some incredible reasons to give gifts on this particular day. From very small gestures to rather large ones, this holiday does offer great opportunity to surprise a sweetheart, family, friends and even colleagues.

The ideas for holiday appropriate gifts do abound. From simple Kiss Me buttons to elaborate and sophisticated gift baskets full of holiday cheer, there really is no shortage of ways to spread a little fun and show people you care.

So, why should you turn this holiday into a gift giving occasion? There are plenty of reasons. Some of the best include:

The surprise factor. Most people expect to receive gifts on Christmas, their birthdays and even Valentines Day. They do not expect anything on March 17th. Giving gifts when there are no obligations or stings attached adds a surprise factor to the proposition you will not otherwise be able to achieve. Plus, this is simply a great way to show you care. Gifts that are given just because are often appreciated even more than those that arrive on traditional special occasions.

Adding to the atmosphere. There are some fantastic gifts to give sweethearts, friends and family for St. Patrick's Day that can add to the festive nature of this holiday. Gift baskets brimming with holiday fare, special clothing, buttons and more can just help add to the fun this holiday has to offer. Plus, there are even some spectacularly romantic gifts you can give a sweetheart while still enjoying the spirit of this holiday.

Just for the fun of it. Giving a gift to a special someone or dear friend or family member is always a personally rewarding experience. There is something special about seeing a face light up at the mere thought of a surprise. The truth is St. Patrick's Day gifts can be as much fun to give as they are to receive.

The selection. There are some excellent ideas for St. Patrick's Day gifts. Looking them over and choosing presents for friends, family or a sweetheart can be fun in and of itself. You are likely to find that present options range from kitschy to very classy. From Irish green horns and traditional derbies to diamond shamrocks, you will find them all if you look around.

Just because St. Patrick's Day is not a traditional gift-giving holiday does not mean you cannot make it so. In fact, doing so can be very rewarding and a whole lot of fun, too. Use your imagination and open your eyes, you are more than likely to find some fantastic ideas for anyone in your life.

Infant Baby Skeleton Halloween Costume (Sz:12-18M)

Customer Review: Perfect for my Little Skeleton Boy
This costume was great for my little 17-month old boy who loves skeletons. He wouldn't wear the hat, but that's okay. It's very light-weight, but fits easily over clothes. He wore it with a long-sleeve shirt and some warm-up pants to go trick or treating. The only hard thing is that you have to take the whole thing off if you need to change a diaper. Because he wanted to wear the costume all day, I had to do it a couple of times. Other than that, we really loved it. The back fastens with Velcro dots and they held better than I expected.

Already took the family for a summer vacation this year? Here are 10 excuses for taking them on a Hawaiian Christmas vacation this December.

1. Hawaiian Christmas airfares are cheap compared to summer airfares. Hawaiian Airlines often runs Mele Kalikimaka specials for as little as $300 roundtrip from the West Coast. But you can be there for the Christmas fun and save even more if you go earlier in December. Hotwire.com and Hawaiian Air often offer rates as low as $175 to $225 (L.A. and San Francisco to Honolulu.

2. Honolulu City Lights: The city of Honolulu (including Waikiki) goes all out for Christmas. Beginning with the Kawaiahao Church Service (the first Christian church built in Hawaii), a spectacular electric light Parade and the lighting of the decorated 63-foot Norfolk Island pine in front of Honolulu Hale (City Hall). The Hilton Village and other Waikiki Beach hotels are all decked out too. And there's a special trolley for Honolulu Christmas light viewing.

3. Hawaiian Santa: Children greet Santa at Waikiki Beach where he arrives in his red canoe.

4. Hawaiian Christmas Ornaments: These are so much fun! My kids used to weave the coconut frond ones for our tree, and there are lots of free or small fee workshops at this time of year for all kinds of Hawaiian Christmas decorations and wreaths that you can bring home with you.

5. Hawaiian Christmas Craft Fairs: Music, good food and lots of beautiful and fun Christmas decorations are found at the craft fairs. I've lived in some pretty artsy places, and I've never seen so many Christmas craft listings as in Hawaii. Just think how delighted your family, friends and neighbors back home will be when they see your tree decorated with real Hawaiian local style ornaments like kukui nut, tapa cloth angels and Santa's on surfboards.

6. Hawaiian Christmas Concerts: Children's choirs and favorite local musicians like the Brothers Cazimero sing songs like "Here Comes Santa in a Red Canoe" and the Hawaiian version of "The 12 Days of Christmas." And then there's "Silent Night" sung in English and Hawaiian. Live music is everywhere at Christmas whether you've got tickets to the Honolulu Symphony or you're strolling through Waikiki!

7. Hawaii Sand, Surf and Snow: And where else but on the Big Island can you build a snow board down a mountain slope and snorkel over a coral reef in the same day?

8. Balmy December Weather: Hawaii's daytime temperature at Christmas time ranges from a "chilly" 68 degrees in the evening to 80 degrees in the daytime. The trade winds keep you nice and comfortable. The water's also inviting year round - - you can snorkel, swim, kayak and surf in nothing more than a bathing suit.

9. Whale Watching: Speaking of the water, here are two more great reasons for a Hawaiian Christmas. In December, the humpback whales return from their feeding grounds in Alaska to mate, give birth and frolic in Hawaii's warm waters.

10. Hawaii Surf Championships: And in December, you'll also be able to watch humans "frolic" in the really big surf on the North Shore as they ride two-story waves competing in the Triple Crown.

So there you have it. 10 good reasons and all the excuse you need to Christmas in Hawaii this year.

Adult's Pig Halloween Costume

Ghost hunting and paranormal investigations are becoming increasingly popular with amateur ghost hunters, in part due to the easy access of information on the internet and current television shows about hauntings. Since the spirit of Halloween revolves around the souls of the dead returning to earth to haunt the living, Halloween night is considering a "prime time" for hunting ghosts. It's an annual right of passage for both amateur and professional ghost hunters to be out in full gear that night.

Ghost Hunt - going to a location that may or may not be haunted and trying to capture them on film (video and/or photos). A graveyard late at night is the number one place to start.

Ghost Investigation - going to a known haunted place and recording data (video, photos, audio and temperatures), taking notes, interviews and other evidence to prove/disprove the haunting and existence of ghosts.

For many the quest is to seek out allegedly haunted locations, authenticate evidence of ghosts, do research and conduct investigations into paranormal activity. Among ghost hunters, some are also devotees of urban exploration, a growing hobby where enthusiasts venture into abandoned structures such as hospitals, asylums, and sanatoriums. The more experienced hunters investigate and document reports of ghosts, hauntings and paranormal activity; where as many of the amateur ghost hunters are just out to have fun.

The definition of a "haunting" is a recurring presence of a ghost, demon, or similar supernatural being at a specific place. Old houses, hotels, restaurants, pubs, prisons, cemeteries and graveyards are the most common haunted places. Belief in hauntings and ghosts spans the world and is recorded throughout history in legends and ghost stories.

There are five primary types of hauntings:

  1. Intelligent - may be a ghost or demon. The entity is aware of its surroundings, including living people who may be present.
  2. Residual - the entity does not seem to be aware of any living beings and performs the same repetitive act (often the reenactment of a tragic event).
  3. Benevolent - a ghost that seeks to help or protect the living sometimes from an evil spirit.
  4. Malevolent - ghost or demon that seeks to inflict harm on the living.
  5. Benign - entity that is either unconcerned about the living or unaware of their presence.

What better time of year than Halloween to check out some of the "hauntings" in your neck of the woods! Whether you're a more experienced paranormal investigator or just out for a night of ghost hunting, the souls of the dead are waiting for you on Halloween night. Good luck and happy haunting!

Have you always wanted to create your own beaded ornaments but have little experience with bead work? Provided in this article are some simple tips that will help you create stunning and beautiful hand made beaded Christmas ornaments that will make your home more festive this holiday season.

If you have never made bead Christmas ornaments, you will first need to select either a pattern or a kit. There are many kits available that typically include the beads, needle, thread, glue and any other materials required to begin making bead Christmas ornaments. The next step is to assemble the proper tools.

Tools Needed for Your Hand Made Christmas Ornaments

Pliers are the most important tool for getting started in making your hand made bead Christmas ornaments. Important pliers that are used with bead making include Flat Nose Pliers, Round Nose Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers, Crimp Nose Pliers, and Split Ring Pliers.

Another tool you will need is a good pair of wire cutters. If you are making wire bead Christmas ornaments, then wire cutters are absolutely essential. When selecting wire cutters it is important to select the appropriate strength wire cutter for the wire that you will be using. Wire cutters come in both lightweight and heavy-duty strengths. Light weigh cutters will suit your basic needs for the beading wire you will be using.

Lastly, when making hand made Christmas Bead ornaments purchase bead needles. These needles come in a variety of sizes. Choose needles applicable to the project you are making.

Different Types of Hand Made Christmas Bead Ornaments

A simple bead ornament recommended for a young child to make may consist of little more than stringing "pony beads" or other suitable bead onto pipe cleaners. Children can simply place the beads on the pipe cleaners then twist them into various shapes such as bells, stars, candy canes, and Christmas trees.

Here is another way that you can create sparkling and beautiful hand made Christmas bead ornaments no experience required. First gather your supplies. These will include fabric paints (or other dimensional paint), small glass beads (or seed beads) satin finished ornaments, a small tray, and a small cup. First, sketch a simple shape on the ornament with the fabric paint. Ideas for shapes typically include simple snowflakes, trees, and stars, but ultimately the choice is up to you. Create your pattern as simple or as elaborate as you like. After you have drawn your design on the satin ornament with the fabric paint, hold the ornament over a small tray, and sprinkle the tiny beads over the ornament using a small cup. This is similar to projects where you apply glue and then sprinkle glitter over the glue. After your ornament finishes drying, you can hang it with a beautiful cord or complimentary satin ribbon.

It's as easy at that! So go ahead and gather your supplies and get started making your own personalized hand made Christmas ornaments for the holidays!

Rob Buenaventura invites you to Christmas Ornaments 4 U, a website focused on your Christmas Ornament needs. Ordered the Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn Deluxe Child Costume for son for Christmas. Based on the measurements provided, I purchased a size medium. It runs very large and my son was swimming in it. If Christmas is all about giving gifts nowadays, then why is gift giving so hard? We've had plenty of practice, plenty of time to prepare (after all, it is only one day out of the year) and plenty of time to listen to requests. So what is all the stress about? This should be easy. Giving gifts should be easy. Does it make you a bad person if it isn't? No no, on the contrary. It makes you normal. So how do we solve this problem? How do we prepare for this massive obligation we have forced on ourselves?

Start as Early as The Day After

In the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, there is a classic line where the Narrator says, "He hadn't stopped Christmas from coming, it came. Somehow or other, it came just the same." You see, if the Grinch couldn't stop Christmas, neither can you. It is inevitable. So, you might as well start shopping as soon as something catches your eye.

Do not think "Christmas is so far from here, I'll get the gift later." If something catches your attention, it is usually because you know that the person you are thinking of will like it. Buy it. If you do this constantly through the year, not only will you avoid the stress of shopping around holiday season, but it won't feel like you are clearing out your bank account. Also: you know that certain people's gifts are done, so your concentration can be elsewhere.

Be Aware of Sales.

Just because you see something that you know will be perfect, make sure you are getting the lowest price available. For example: Ugg boots are great as gifts for Christmas. But not many places mark down UGGs because they are so popular. This doesn't mean that there aren't bargains to be had. There are a few websites online that will ship for free and gift wrap for free. GREAT! One less stress on your mind.

If you are shopping throughout the whole year, then you have time to look for those sales. Especially on popular items that won't sell out quite as fast because everyone has them in stock right before Christmas. Therefore, there is less chance of it being gone when you go to purchase them.

The exception to this rule is when you are eyeing a unique item. If the item is unique, then buy it as soon as you feel it would be perfect for one of your friends, because the likely-hood of it being there next time is pretty slim.

Keep Organized

Keep tabs on who you've already covered. Sometimes it can be difficult to remember that you already bought someone their Christmas present. Make a list of people you would like to buy for and cross them off once you don't want to spend more money on them. Some people are harder to shop for than others, so keep them in mind when shopping. They may take more effort if things don't simply pop out at you from the shelves and scream their name.

It is understandably difficult to buy gifts for 25 people and try to get the gifts to them all on the same day. So make it easier. Shop early, end early and have yourself a stress-free merry little Christmas.

Visit http://www.WhatSheBuys.com for unusual gift ideas for all occasions. WhatSheBuys specializes in bringing you the best for her, for him and for child.

Rag Doll Plus Size Adult Costumes are classic Costumes! Pick this adorable Costume this Halloween, and you will definitely be the talk of the party!!

When you hear the words and the melody of "Happy Birthday to You," you know that there is a celebration, and someone is having a special day. Did you know that according to sources, the most widely sung tune in the world is the Happy Birthday song? It isn't a wonder, because birthdays are unofficial holidays that are always celebrated, and very seldom forgotten. What is the best way to tell someone you remembered his special day? You can send him a birthday card, of course!

In the United Kingdom, the British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC, estimates that more than 1 billion pounds are spent on birthday cards every year. Of these statistics from a BBC report, about 55 cards are sent by the average person in the UK annually. Typically, one birthday card in the UK may retail for two pounds fifty to four pounds. Apart from buying birthday cards, various items in the UK are given to people on their special days, such as flowers, sweets, and many more.

Here is a short history on greeting cards and birthday cards: the very first greeting cards were hand painted about 200 years ago. They were very expensive to make, so only the rich people get to send them out. Plus, mail and parcel was not as easy to deliver because of limits to transportation.

Later on, when postage stamps were being used, more and more greeting cards were created, and they became less expensive. It was in 1850 when the first birthday card was created, and it was also of a handmade design. At the present time, birthday cards are made of various types of paper, with different designs and messages. You may now buy birthday cards on line and they are the fastest growing sector of the greeting card industry.

Just like in the United States, the best way to buy greetings cards is on line. There are some great web sites that offer a tremendous selection of greetings cards at great prices. It is no wonder that on line greetings cards are so popular.

About 2.2 billion cards are circulated in the UK every year. The British are said to buy about 320 million birthday cards annually, with more than 30 million anniversary cards and about 11 million wedding cards adding to the statistics.

More than a billion pounds are spent by citizens of the UK from the purchase of greeting cards and birthday cards alone. Greeting cards are the third biggest purchase in the UK, next to chocolates and cola. Birthdays are definitely occasions to celebrate, no matter where you are in the world. Thanks to birthday cards, you can always wish someone a great year ahead, even if you're not there for their party.

Andrew Gibson is MD of Greeting-Cards.com. It has thousands of free ecards to choose from for birthdays and all occasions. Many people now send free e-cards to celebrate birthdays and select them from thousands of free e-cards

Men's Super Deluxe Joker Halloween Costume

Many colleges are known for throwing parties all year long. Although there are many parties that go on throughout the year Halloween is one of the top parties to have. If you or someone you know is throwing a Halloween dorm room party, you can make this project a lot of fun! To have one of the best Halloween parties you need to be really creative. Need some ideas on how you can have a Halloween theme in your dorm room? Read below for some fun ideas.

Food & Dessert - Since most parties have some type of food at them you may want to consider this. Try to have some Halloween theme going on with your food. Look for some fun recipes for both food and desserts. Whether you make cookies shaped as Halloween creatures or a dish that resembles Halloween it will help. It doesn't need to be anything expensive just something simple, and fun.

Dishes - You can get some cheap silverware and dishes at your local grocery store for really cheap. By getting these you're not only saving a huge mess of dishes to clean up but your adding more to your Halloween theme. Around the Halloween season there are many decorated utensils and plates.

Party Decorations - You can get some fun streamers, banners or confetti that all represent Halloween. These are all really cheap and basically make the Halloween theme for the dorm room. Go to your nearest party store and they should have plenty.

Dress up - Make sure no one attends the party unless they are dressed up. Getting dressed up for Halloween is something everyone looks forward to. Costumes make a Halloween party even more fun.

Movie & Music - Have some kind of background noise that relates to Halloween. Check out your local movie store and see what the top Halloween movies are. If the party gets dull this is a great way to liven it up by throwing in a movie. This is a great way for people to sit down, relax and enjoy the party. Also the music is just a nice little ad to the Halloween theme.

Having parties like these are what makes college memories. It is always fun to get together with your close friends, take a break from school and have some fun. If the party seems a little hectic to host simply ask your friends who will be attending the party if they can bring some kind of dish when they come. This will cut down on the cooking for you and create even more fun for the people that will be coming. Also if you have someone else doing some cooking you get to see what creative ideas they come up with for the food and desserts. Be sure to have some fun, take a break from the studying, and bring out your camera to save and capture some of the great memories you have that night with your friends.

You can make embellishments and accessories for your Christmas village scene and make it more personal and unique. Have some fun creating decorations for your village by creating homemade ornaments for the tabletop display. Include your children or your friends at a scheduled time and everyone will begin their Christmas reminiscing journey earlier as well as get into the season sooner.

While we all have one or two homemade ornament on our trees (usually from our children, grandchildren, or other children in our lives) very few of us make our own accessories and embellish our own village scenes with such uniqueness.

Christmas crafts are beautiful enough to display on the tree, on the table, on doors and overhangs, and windows. Your Christmas village is the same! You can leave it up all year and change it with the seasons if you have or create the right accessories.

These are treasured traditions, villages that have been years in the making, houses and shops that have been handed down or given as gifts. So might be said of the memories of time spent setting up or creating these beautiful village scenes.

Many of us have fond memories of this Christmas tradition of decking the halls with family, that it is often a scheduled and shared event. Think of how the house smelled like gingerbread and cinnamon. How the children sat at the table making gifts, crafts, and cards for the special people in their lives. The carols that played or the television specials that were on - only for this special time of year.

These memories and traditions are tied up in our generations' past. Up until the mid 19th century all Christmas ornaments were handmade using whatever was easily available in that region at that time of year. Parents would make decorations out of fabric, pinecones, cedar branches and bits of wax that had been meticulously saved all year for this special day.

Around 1875 we started seeing Christmas ornaments that could be purchased in a store - but the tradition of spending time in creating unique Christmas displays lived on. Now we get together to set up Christmas village scenes and other displays that younger hands can easily manage.

Glass ornaments were first introduced from Germany. The German race was renowned for high quality craftsmanship and the Christmas decorating accessories was no exception - these pieces were truly exquisite. In short order the Germans had over 4500 molds and over 100 glass blowing workshops devoted entirely to Christmas decor.

We've come a long way since the mid 19th century with our tastes and Christmas decorating, but we certainly can't beat creating Christmas village scenes with our family as part of our own, newer, tradition of the season.

Ideas for your Christmas village display:

Fasten tiny jingle balls to the corners of your table runner if you use one for your display to give your table a little extra festive sparkle.

Paint tiny snowflakes on nearby windows to make a beautiful backdrop to your Christmas village scene (use removable glass paint perhaps with a small sparkle to it).

LauraJean 'Kringle', a country living author writes about Christmas in a series of tradition articles. Customer Review: Older girl Tinkerbell costume
This was perfect for my 8 yr old daughter. She wanted to be Tinkerbell when we went to Disneyworld for a Halloween party. It was easy to pack, because it didn't have those HUGE hard wings. It has soft little wings you put on over the soft little dress. The material is kind of thin, but she was comfortable in it all day. We've washed it and it's holding up perfectly. She rode rides without any issues. She just wore a pair of light green shorts (not provided) underneath and some silver sparkly flats (not provided) and she was all set. I thought this was not "little girly" but not "grown up" looking either. Just the right amount of "cute" for an 8 yr old.

Celebrating the Independence Day with great enthusiasm and charm depends on the way you arrange the 4th of July party. Arranging a delicious dinner and serving beers are the best way to celebrate any occasion. Many people arrange the parties either as a public function or as a private affair to commemorate the great day in American history. It is necessary that a patriotic theme is decided for the grand party. It is important that the invitations to the party are going as early as possible to the participants so that they can be assured of the participation.

The populace can celebrate the 4th of July party with many charming events, apart from delicious mouth watering eatables and hot drinks. A cultural night with grand dances and music will add the attraction of the function. The participation of the children is extremely important in making the party a grand success. Games and trivia can be arranged just before the party starts, so that many of the people can participate in these events with much enthusiasm. These will add up the enjoyments and can make the party highly fun filled.

Delicious food items and tasty desserts are highly essential. Wines and cakes can be served at the beginning. You can make any specialized type of food items to add the charm of the party. Some people generally like to give some personal touch to the function by making good decorations on the venue. The place of the function needs to be illuminated with colorful lights and with different colored clip arts so that it will give the venue a grand and festive look.

Are you ready for a change this Thanksgiving? Tired of the same roast turkey? Looking for some new Thanksgiving menu ideas? I was. It was time for me to cook something different, and give the family some new taste treats. Sure, we'd still have turkey, but maybe instead of a 15 lb. bird we'd have a turkey breast. I'd still make their favorite Apple, Sage and Sausage Stuffing on the side, and I would still make Madeira gray. The question was what new item to add to my Thanksgiving menu?

I decided on a ham. A beautiful Pineapple Glazed Ham like mom used to make. Studded with whole cloves, brushed with a sticky yummy glaze of brown sugar, pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, ginger and garlic and decorated with pineapple rings and maraschino cherries. With the addition of a 5-6 lb. ham to my Thanksgiving dinner that meant that I could serve much less turkey and still have plenty for everyone to eat.

This new addition to my Thanksgiving recipes also meant I'd want to cook homemade biscuits so everyone would be able to make a ham sandwich. It also meant that my new recipe for Tangy Cranberry Apple Chutney would be a perfect accompaniment for the ham biscuit sandwiches.

I decided to add another new dish to my Thanksgiving dinner menu, a classic Chestnut Stuffing. I found a recipe in my mother's old cookbook. It would be a new experience making a Chestnut Puree from fresh chestnuts, but it was an easy Thanksgiving recipe. Once the Chestnut Puree was made it was added to very simple ingredients, bacon, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper, lemon rind, salt and pepper and a beaten egg.

Along with new Thanksgiving dinner recipes I'd cook my tried and true family favorites. One of these is a simple Campbell's Green Bean Casserole. Some gourmet cooks may turn their noses up, but our family looks forward to it every year. I have a recipe for Cook's Illustrated Green Bean Casserole, but it seems too much to undertake when the family likes the Campbell's holiday bean casserole so much.

I am also going to have my family prepare dishes for our dinner. This year I'm going to share my Thanksgiving Recipes with them. I'll have them bring vegetable side-dishes and holiday desserts. It's always helpful when family and friends each bring one dish for dinner.

Excite your family and friends this year with new Thanksgiving dinner ideas.

Adult's V For Vendetta Halloween Costume (Size: Standard 44)

Adult V for Vendetta costume. Just like Guy Fawkes. Costume features include Cape, EVA hat,Mask and belt with daggers. Officially Licensed Warner Bros. Movie Costume. Standard size fits most men size up to 44. Costumes are not returnable
Customer Review: Incomplete "V" costume
I guess it pays to read the small print as well as the reviews. Just going by the product picture one would think he's getting the full costume. Ha! Nope, not even close. I opened the package to realize there was no wig, gloves, suit, or boots. Only the mask, cape, hat, and daggers. I had to go to a costume store and pay another 12 bucks for a wig. Luckily I had black pants, black shirt, and black shoes. Definitely deceptive advertising.
Customer Review: Goodness
It arrived prompt, great condition, everything was exactly how it was ordered. Though I read a few bad reviews,my order was 100% satisfactory, I must've lucked out.

When planning for any event there's always going to be a certain amount of stress and a New Years Eve party is no exception. However there are some ways you can reduce the stress, so I'm going to share some tips with you to help you do that.

The food you're going to serve at your New Years Eve party is going to be one of your primary concerns, and can be a lot of work if you plan on preparing the food yourself. If your budget will allow it, hire a catering service, as this will lessen your stress level considerably. To use a catering service you will need to spend a little time choosing the right one. First ask your friends or co-workers for recommendations, and if that doesn't produce any results you can always turn to the yellow pages. Whoever you select you'll want to sample some of their cooking and once you've made your choice you'll need to go over the menu and delivery schedule with them. Now that you have the food situation handled you'll be free to turn your focus to other things and you won't have to worry about the food on the night of the party so you can enjoy yourself more.

If hiring a catering service is not in your budget there are still less expensive ways you can reduce the stress of food preparation. Since the party will start later in the evening you could plan to serve snack type of food such as finger foods, chips, pizza, appetizers, breadsticks, vegetable sticks, pretzels etc. All these foods can be prepared easily and quickly. If you have someone to help set it all out that can help even more.

Another low cost method would be to have a Potluck New Years Eve party, and then you would only need to supply some main dish and coordinate what your guests will bring so everyone doesn't bring the same thing. It's always a good idea to mention what type of food will be served on the invitation so guests know what to expect.

You can also reduce your stress level by making the party a casual event so you can enjoy a more relaxed environment. If you go casual you'll spend less time worrying about what to wear, as you'll have plenty of other party details to tend to so the less stress you put on yourself the better.

For the grinning masks you can get some weird ones from the Efik collection in Calabar. There are millions of masks and figures to choose from. Though Halloween has always been about scary things like ghosts, goblins, and witches, some get more excited about things that are pretty disgusting. Though your children may not want to eat Brussels sprouts or broccoli throughout the year because they are 'gross,' this is one time of the year when they are going to go bonkers for the chance to slice into a brain, or to perhaps gobble down a handful of severed fingers. We may never understand the difference, but we can certainly go with it. Find some fun and gross Halloween recipes to serve on this fun day.

If you can make Jell-O, you can come up with some pretty gross Halloween recipes on your own. You may have to shop online to find them, but there are some very interesting Jell-O molds out there that can help you make brains, fingers, and other interesting body parts. If you would like to serve a heart in a bowl of blood, this is the way to go. You have to come up with the right colors for these gross Halloween recipes, but they should be simple enough to make. Don't forget to use strawberry sauce, or something else that is darker red, to have for the blood. Things are much more disgusting when they come with some blood.

1) 1 box of Jello

2) I jar of strawberry sauce

3) 1 big bowl

Use a jello mold to make an eye ball. Pour the Strawberry Jelly or Strawberry sauce over the eye ball and place in the bowl. Put the bowl in the refrigerator to make it hard.

You can also do some interesting things with spaghetti for gross Halloween recipes. Things like this are screaming out to be made into something truly yucky. You can come up with a thick, dark red sauce and then use it to make what would look like intestines. This may not make things good to eat, but they are going to be interesting. Find some type of item that you can use to present the intestines, and you are going to gross your kids out - just like they have wished you would do.

If you are good with baking, you can make some gross Halloween recipes that involve decorating things with eyeballs and other icky items. You can make cupcakes that look like giant eyeballs, or perhaps you could cut up a cake to decorate as something that is going to repulse and delight your children or your other guests. These ideas for gross Halloween recipes work well at home, but don't forget to share them with others that you love. If you are having a party of any type, be sure you have enough to serve all of your guests. It's a party they are not soon going to forget.
