Men's Super Deluxe Joker Halloween Costume

Many colleges are known for throwing parties all year long. Although there are many parties that go on throughout the year Halloween is one of the top parties to have. If you or someone you know is throwing a Halloween dorm room party, you can make this project a lot of fun! To have one of the best Halloween parties you need to be really creative. Need some ideas on how you can have a Halloween theme in your dorm room? Read below for some fun ideas.

Food & Dessert - Since most parties have some type of food at them you may want to consider this. Try to have some Halloween theme going on with your food. Look for some fun recipes for both food and desserts. Whether you make cookies shaped as Halloween creatures or a dish that resembles Halloween it will help. It doesn't need to be anything expensive just something simple, and fun.

Dishes - You can get some cheap silverware and dishes at your local grocery store for really cheap. By getting these you're not only saving a huge mess of dishes to clean up but your adding more to your Halloween theme. Around the Halloween season there are many decorated utensils and plates.

Party Decorations - You can get some fun streamers, banners or confetti that all represent Halloween. These are all really cheap and basically make the Halloween theme for the dorm room. Go to your nearest party store and they should have plenty.

Dress up - Make sure no one attends the party unless they are dressed up. Getting dressed up for Halloween is something everyone looks forward to. Costumes make a Halloween party even more fun.

Movie & Music - Have some kind of background noise that relates to Halloween. Check out your local movie store and see what the top Halloween movies are. If the party gets dull this is a great way to liven it up by throwing in a movie. This is a great way for people to sit down, relax and enjoy the party. Also the music is just a nice little ad to the Halloween theme.

Having parties like these are what makes college memories. It is always fun to get together with your close friends, take a break from school and have some fun. If the party seems a little hectic to host simply ask your friends who will be attending the party if they can bring some kind of dish when they come. This will cut down on the cooking for you and create even more fun for the people that will be coming. Also if you have someone else doing some cooking you get to see what creative ideas they come up with for the food and desserts. Be sure to have some fun, take a break from the studying, and bring out your camera to save and capture some of the great memories you have that night with your friends.

You can make embellishments and accessories for your Christmas village scene and make it more personal and unique. Have some fun creating decorations for your village by creating homemade ornaments for the tabletop display. Include your children or your friends at a scheduled time and everyone will begin their Christmas reminiscing journey earlier as well as get into the season sooner.

While we all have one or two homemade ornament on our trees (usually from our children, grandchildren, or other children in our lives) very few of us make our own accessories and embellish our own village scenes with such uniqueness.

Christmas crafts are beautiful enough to display on the tree, on the table, on doors and overhangs, and windows. Your Christmas village is the same! You can leave it up all year and change it with the seasons if you have or create the right accessories.

These are treasured traditions, villages that have been years in the making, houses and shops that have been handed down or given as gifts. So might be said of the memories of time spent setting up or creating these beautiful village scenes.

Many of us have fond memories of this Christmas tradition of decking the halls with family, that it is often a scheduled and shared event. Think of how the house smelled like gingerbread and cinnamon. How the children sat at the table making gifts, crafts, and cards for the special people in their lives. The carols that played or the television specials that were on - only for this special time of year.

These memories and traditions are tied up in our generations' past. Up until the mid 19th century all Christmas ornaments were handmade using whatever was easily available in that region at that time of year. Parents would make decorations out of fabric, pinecones, cedar branches and bits of wax that had been meticulously saved all year for this special day.

Around 1875 we started seeing Christmas ornaments that could be purchased in a store - but the tradition of spending time in creating unique Christmas displays lived on. Now we get together to set up Christmas village scenes and other displays that younger hands can easily manage.

Glass ornaments were first introduced from Germany. The German race was renowned for high quality craftsmanship and the Christmas decorating accessories was no exception - these pieces were truly exquisite. In short order the Germans had over 4500 molds and over 100 glass blowing workshops devoted entirely to Christmas decor.

We've come a long way since the mid 19th century with our tastes and Christmas decorating, but we certainly can't beat creating Christmas village scenes with our family as part of our own, newer, tradition of the season.

Ideas for your Christmas village display:

Fasten tiny jingle balls to the corners of your table runner if you use one for your display to give your table a little extra festive sparkle.

Paint tiny snowflakes on nearby windows to make a beautiful backdrop to your Christmas village scene (use removable glass paint perhaps with a small sparkle to it).

Cute Kids Peter Pan Halloween Costume Tinkerbell Fairy Outfit Childrens Green Tinker Bell Girl Dress

Halloween Concepts Green Tinkerbell Costume by Rubies

This Item Includes Dress; Wings

.
Customer Review: Older girl Tinkerbell costume
This was perfect for my 8 yr old daughter. She wanted to be Tinkerbell when we went to Disneyworld for a Halloween party. It was easy to pack, because it didn't have those HUGE hard wings. It has soft little wings you put on over the soft little dress. The material is kind of thin, but she was comfortable in it all day. We've washed it and it's holding up perfectly. She rode rides without any issues. She just wore a pair of light green shorts (not provided) underneath and some silver sparkly flats (not provided) and she was all set. I thought this was not "little girly" but not "grown up" looking either. Just the right amount of "cute" for an 8 yr old.

Are you ready for a change this Thanksgiving? Tired of the same roast turkey? Looking for some new Thanksgiving menu ideas? I was. It was time for me to cook something different, and give the family some new taste treats. Sure, we'd still have turkey, but maybe instead of a 15 lb. bird we'd have a turkey breast. I'd still make their favorite Apple, Sage and Sausage Stuffing on the side, and I would still make Madeira gray. The question was what new item to add to my Thanksgiving menu?

I decided on a ham. A beautiful Pineapple Glazed Ham like mom used to make. Studded with whole cloves, brushed with a sticky yummy glaze of brown sugar, pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, ginger and garlic and decorated with pineapple rings and maraschino cherries. With the addition of a 5-6 lb. ham to my Thanksgiving dinner that meant that I could serve much less turkey and still have plenty for everyone to eat.

This new addition to my Thanksgiving recipes also meant I'd want to cook homemade biscuits so everyone would be able to make a ham sandwich. It also meant that my new recipe for Tangy Cranberry Apple Chutney would be a perfect accompaniment for the ham biscuit sandwiches.

I decided to add another new dish to my Thanksgiving dinner menu, a classic Chestnut Stuffing. I found a recipe in my mother's old cookbook. It would be a new experience making a Chestnut Puree from fresh chestnuts, but it was an easy Thanksgiving recipe. Once the Chestnut Puree was made it was added to very simple ingredients, bacon, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper, lemon rind, salt and pepper and a beaten egg.

Along with new Thanksgiving dinner recipes I'd cook my tried and true family favorites. One of these is a simple Campbell's Green Bean Casserole. Some gourmet cooks may turn their noses up, but our family looks forward to it every year. I have a recipe for Cook's Illustrated Green Bean Casserole, but it seems too much to undertake when the family likes the Campbell's holiday bean casserole so much.

I am also going to have my family prepare dishes for our dinner. This year I'm going to share my Thanksgiving Recipes with them. I'll have them bring vegetable side-dishes and holiday desserts. It's always helpful when family and friends each bring one dish for dinner.

Excite your family and friends this year with new Thanksgiving dinner ideas.

Adult's V For Vendetta Halloween Costume (Size: Standard 44)

Adult V for Vendetta costume. Just like Guy Fawkes. Costume features include Cape, EVA hat,Mask and belt with daggers. Officially Licensed Warner Bros. Movie Costume. Standard size fits most men size up to 44. Costumes are not returnable
Customer Review: Incomplete "V" costume
I guess it pays to read the small print as well as the reviews. Just going by the product picture one would think he's getting the full costume. Ha! Nope, not even close. I opened the package to realize there was no wig, gloves, suit, or boots. Only the mask, cape, hat, and daggers. I had to go to a costume store and pay another 12 bucks for a wig. Luckily I had black pants, black shirt, and black shoes. Definitely deceptive advertising.
Customer Review: Goodness
It arrived prompt, great condition, everything was exactly how it was ordered. Though I read a few bad reviews,my order was 100% satisfactory, I must've lucked out.

When planning for any event there's always going to be a certain amount of stress and a New Years Eve party is no exception. However there are some ways you can reduce the stress, so I'm going to share some tips with you to help you do that.

The food you're going to serve at your New Years Eve party is going to be one of your primary concerns, and can be a lot of work if you plan on preparing the food yourself. If your budget will allow it, hire a catering service, as this will lessen your stress level considerably. To use a catering service you will need to spend a little time choosing the right one. First ask your friends or co-workers for recommendations, and if that doesn't produce any results you can always turn to the yellow pages. Whoever you select you'll want to sample some of their cooking and once you've made your choice you'll need to go over the menu and delivery schedule with them. Now that you have the food situation handled you'll be free to turn your focus to other things and you won't have to worry about the food on the night of the party so you can enjoy yourself more.

If hiring a catering service is not in your budget there are still less expensive ways you can reduce the stress of food preparation. Since the party will start later in the evening you could plan to serve snack type of food such as finger foods, chips, pizza, appetizers, breadsticks, vegetable sticks, pretzels etc. All these foods can be prepared easily and quickly. If you have someone to help set it all out that can help even more.

Another low cost method would be to have a Potluck New Years Eve party, and then you would only need to supply some main dish and coordinate what your guests will bring so everyone doesn't bring the same thing. It's always a good idea to mention what type of food will be served on the invitation so guests know what to expect.

You can also reduce your stress level by making the party a casual event so you can enjoy a more relaxed environment. If you go casual you'll spend less time worrying about what to wear, as you'll have plenty of other party details to tend to so the less stress you put on yourself the better.

What do you want for your interior decorations as we approach Halloween? A lot is known about the usual preparations for Halloween. A few suggestions about Halloween decorations that will make your home and family stand out from the crowd and give your home the "halloween" feeling. Wouldn't it be fun to celebrate this year's Halloween with an African flavor for a change?Obama is change so think change this season! You can start by sourcing out some very frightful African Masks and paintings depicting black magic for the walls of your home. For the grinning masks you can get some weird ones from the Efik collection in Calabar. There are millions of masks and figures to choose from. Some very frightening costumes are also available in varying colors, shapes and sizes. You can make your Halloween a memorable one by adding some special effects such as a recorded Tarzan cry embedded in a Mandrill mask. Of course Halloween costumes calls for creativity and uniqueness.

Moreover, when it comes to interior decorations there are very good sculptures and wall to wall paintings of African and West Indian origin available which are certainly very "Halloweenish". You may think of keeping the colorful wall paper long after Halloween as they are art pieces worthy of keepsake. Your Jack-O-Lantern could be made out of the sweet smelling hollowed out camphor trees mixed with exotic spices to give a fragrance that will linger long after Halloween. Remember Africa is still the home of witchcraft(voodoo) and superstition and if you are seeking directions or want to acquire (stuff at great prices) from Africa to distinguish your home come Halloween then think African this Halloween. Obama is change so think change this season and celebrate Halloween the true African style.

Though Halloween has always been about scary things like ghosts, goblins, and witches, some get more excited about things that are pretty disgusting. Though your children may not want to eat Brussels sprouts or broccoli throughout the year because they are 'gross,' this is one time of the year when they are going to go bonkers for the chance to slice into a brain, or to perhaps gobble down a handful of severed fingers. We may never understand the difference, but we can certainly go with it. Find some fun and gross Halloween recipes to serve on this fun day.

If you can make Jell-O, you can come up with some pretty gross Halloween recipes on your own. You may have to shop online to find them, but there are some very interesting Jell-O molds out there that can help you make brains, fingers, and other interesting body parts. If you would like to serve a heart in a bowl of blood, this is the way to go. You have to come up with the right colors for these gross Halloween recipes, but they should be simple enough to make. Don't forget to use strawberry sauce, or something else that is darker red, to have for the blood. Things are much more disgusting when they come with some blood.

1) 1 box of Jello

2) I jar of strawberry sauce

3) 1 big bowl

Use a jello mold to make an eye ball. Pour the Strawberry Jelly or Strawberry sauce over the eye ball and place in the bowl. Put the bowl in the refrigerator to make it hard.

You can also do some interesting things with spaghetti for gross Halloween recipes. Things like this are screaming out to be made into something truly yucky. You can come up with a thick, dark red sauce and then use it to make what would look like intestines. This may not make things good to eat, but they are going to be interesting. Find some type of item that you can use to present the intestines, and you are going to gross your kids out - just like they have wished you would do.

If you are good with baking, you can make some gross Halloween recipes that involve decorating things with eyeballs and other icky items. You can make cupcakes that look like giant eyeballs, or perhaps you could cut up a cake to decorate as something that is going to repulse and delight your children or your other guests. These ideas for gross Halloween recipes work well at home, but don't forget to share them with others that you love. If you are having a party of any type, be sure you have enough to serve all of your guests. It's a party they are not soon going to forget.

Toddler Peter Pan Halloween Costume (Size: 2-4T)

Do you know the story about Halloween? Hundreds of years ago in Northern France, lived the Celtics. The Celtics worshiped nature and had many gods, with the sun god as their favorite.

The Celtics celebrated their New Year on November 1st. They celebrated every year with a festival and marked the end of the "season of the sun" and the beginning of "the season of darkness and cold."

On the eve before their new year (October 31), it was believed that all the dead people were called together . The dead would take different forms, with the bad spirits taking the form of animals. The most evil taking the form of cats.

On October 31st after the crops were all harvested and stored for the long winter the cooking fires in the homes would be extinguished. The Celtic priests, would meet in the hilltop in the dark oak forest and would light new fires and offer sacrifices of crops and animals. As they danced around the the fires, the season of the sun passed and the season of darkness would begin.

The Halloween we celebrate today includes all of these influences, apples, nuts, and harvest, black cats, magic, evil spirits and death, and the ghosts, skeletons and my favorite pumpkins.

Turn your yard into a Halloween masterpiece with an extra large outdoor pumpkin. It will have the neighbors envious.

Step 1: On the garbage bag draw a large pumpkin face. You can use tape if you are using a black trash bag.

Step 2: Fill your garbage bag with newspaper

Step 3: Once your garbage bag is full tie the top

Step 4: Place pumpkin in your yard for Halloween
